Despite a couple of feet of snow, we opened the New England Boat show yesterday with a great display, four boats at our booth and positive interest on many models. To no one’s surprise the snow over the past 24 hours closed public transport and hence Sunday’s show was cancelled due to convention hall staffing issues. However, the roads are reasonably clear here and hence Monday should be a busy day due to the holiday and people returning from weekend events.
The Jeanneau 409 is one of the most popular brands and new boats here with three staterooms and two full heads. A refundable deposit of $10,000 at the show locks in nearly $20,000 of show discounts combined with a free bow thruster. One of the best deals at the show.
The Salona 33 is a race cruiser with stainless steel hull grid that creates a very stiff performance cruiser.
