I have been sailing and racing boats both big and small most of my life. I have won the NBYA Bay Championship in both J24’s and as helmsman on a Swan 44. I have thousands of miles of offshore and inshore cruising and racing to include 4 Bermuda Races, a couple of Marblehead to Halifax jaunts as crew boss and primary helmsman and hundreds of one design races from New England to Florida and the West Coast. I have spent significant time sailing in the Caribbean and have a couple of wins in the Heineken Regatta in St. Maarten. I also hold a Master Mariner 50 ton Coast Guard license and am a member of the Water Front Commission in the City of Newport. After a successful career as an executive in the newspaper and marine publishing industry I have been a yacht broker for 7 years selling both sailing and power yachts.
