Accommodations

Being primarily a day sailing boat, Mystery’s interior accommodations are simple yet sufficient enough for over night and weekend cruising.
Furthest forward is the sleeping space that accommodates two persons in a V-berth configuration. Aft of the V-berth (to starboard) is a seat and opposite (to port) is the enclosed head space. Furthest aft (to starboard) is a chart table under which is situated a large, removable ice chest / cooler. Furthest aft (to port) is a small stainless steel galley sink supplied with fresh water by way of a bronze Finspray hand pump.
Mystery’s interior is nicely fitted out in the Herreschoff style of white painted bulkheads with varnished trim and varnished teak cabin sole. More than adequate storage is available in under berth / seat bins, lockers and drawers.

Hull and Deck Construction

Cold-molded, Wood-epoxy hull construction with white painted topsides accented with gold cove stripe and blue boot top stripe.

Underwater configuration is of a modern fin bulb style ballast keel with detached, carbon fiber balanced spade rudder.

Deck is traditionally constructed using marine ply over varnished fir deck beams. Deck and cockpit sole are overlaid with teak. Curved cockpit seat tops are of bare teak.

House is traditionally constructed with marine ply over varnished fir beams and overlaid with Dynel cloth set in epoxy and painted a traditional buff color. House sides, front and back are of varnished teak as are the cockpit coamings, toe rails, companionway and forward hatches.
