Eastener is a Ray Hunt-designed 12-meter Yacht built in 1958 for the first Americas Cup in 12 Meter Yachts after WW II. She was at the time considered to have the fastest straight-line speed of all the 12s of that era. She is double-planked mahogany and has been refastened with all bronze fasteners. She was purchased in 2017 and her owner has restored her to sailing condition. She is in the water dockside at the Severn Sailing Association. She will be transiting to NY Harbor to participate in the Manhattan Yacht Club's 12 Meter Heritage Regatta. Available now in time for the Twelve Meter Worlds in Newport RI July 2023
