Overview/Accommodations

This Nordhavn 62 was custom ordered with numerous upgrades and options. The current owners have continued updating and upgrading. The Lady Nora has the preferred 4 stateroom layout and offers all of the comforts and features needed for passagemaking.

Entry into the salon from the aft deck is through double watertight doors. Forward of the salon is the galley. Watertight door entry is to starboard. Steps lead up to pilothouse. Forward of the galley is the teak and holly companionway leading to the engine room with watertight door and forward with master stateroom with ensuite head, laundry, and one guest stateroom with ensuite head to port; starboardside has day/guest head and guest stateroom; foreward is guest/crew cabin with ensuite head. All rooms have bound carpeting, halogen lighting, reading lights, and telephones. All heads have Corian countertops, standup showers, and Vacuflush heads.

The upper aft deck offers a quiet retreat for dining or relaxing in the shade. The lower aft deck offers seating and outdoor dining and provides easy water access to the attached bustle/swim platform.

Salon

Entry from the aft deck into the salon is through watertight French doors. The salon is open, spacious, and exudes a warm and elegant ambiance. 

Additional room gained from absence of dry stack in salon. Large settee and dining table with leaf on starboardside. To port is entertainment system with 2 sleek recliner chairs.

Companionway

The companionway is two steps down from the galley. Aft leads to the walk-in engine room through a watertight door. The master stateroom is on portside as is one guest cabin. To starboard are the electrical panels and cabinets. Forward is a day head. To starboard and forward is the VIP stateroom with ensuite head that doubles as a day head. Forward is the guest/crew cabin. The companionway has high gloss teak panelling for the upper walls, but the lower panels are white which makes the companionway brighter, not always featured on the 62s.

Amidships, portside. Walkaround centerline queen berth with night stand on each side. Generous stowage including hanging lockers, cabinets, drawers, and bookshelves. Vanity on portside. Ensuite head has standup shower.

Engines and Mechanicals

Access to the engine room is through a watertight door in the companionway. The engine room allows for access to mechanicals with convenient places to sit for extended work. The main engine will cruise at 8 knots with a maximum speed at 10.

Main engine is cooled via a Walter Keel Cooler. Both propeller and shaft equipped with a PPS dripless shaft seal. Main shaft equipped with 4 blade 41” Hung Shen propeller.
