Aft to port is a large galley propane stove, microwave and upright refrigerator and freezer. Starboard is a specious head with new Raritan electric toilet, sink and full stall shower. The cabin is air conditioned with reverse cycle heat. The finish below is varnished mahogany and paint keeping with the period.
The wheelhouse helm station and cockpit are keeping with the original "Pilar" for offshore sport fishing including the original 1934 “flying bridge” design by Hemingway with full controls and steering. The double bench seating in the wheelhouse can also be used as berths and are removable. The original "Pilar" was powered by a 75 hp Chrysler gas engine with a 25 hp Lycoming “trolling engine” The new "Pilar" has twin 75hp diesels with new transmissions with easy accessible location under the wheelhouse sole.
