This is your opportunity to own a 2004 Island Packet 370 lightly used and well maintained with all the factory upgrades! A very nice two stateroom, comfortable cruiser with all the trimmings! Sleeps seven in comfortable berths so bring friends and the whole family! The Island Packet 370 is designed with a modern scoop transom with a swim step, full keel configuration, cutter rig, and impressive interior accommodation plan. The underbody configuration provides a host of advantages: moderate draft for access to a wider variety of cruising grounds, integral one piece construction for superior strength, a highly effective airfoil shape for excellent windward performance, and a modern hull form for enhanced speed and maneuverability. The safety and seakeeping offered by this design provides both peace of mind and additional comfort while underway. The cutter rig features a self-tacking staysail with boom which makes sailing shorthanded a breeze. For many good reasons, Island Packet owners love their boats... great space with room for guests, solid and comfortable sailing characteristics, and a renowned builder still in business! The Island Packets are built robustly! The glasswork, the stainless, the system installation, and attention to detail make them ever so popular. They are the biggest boats for the size, bar none. If seakindliness, a rock solid BIG boat with a HUGE interior moves you, well then, this is the way to go. They offer a stable and safe platform, behave well when the going gets rough, and will make the Admiral feel secure and comfortable.

Newly available, Sapphire is a very lightly used Island Packet 370, laid up in 2004, she is among the newest you will find. This two owner boat has been professionally maintained and sailed seasonally in the very short New England summers. All mechanical items have been properly serviced regularly. Her interior in great condition as she was never cruised or been lived aboard. Her Blue Awlgrip hull is in perfect condition (was re-Awlgripped in 2015). This IP370 was purchased new with all the options and upgraded accommodations package. She even has the cutter rig, staysail package so sailing her is fun and easy.

Sapphire is in excellent conditions but will need some updates (sails and canvas) and upgrades which will be reflected in price negotiations and is being sold "as is". All offers welcome.

Check out the highlights and make plans to come to Portland and inspect her for yourself!

Two owner boat purchased with many upgrades and continuously maintained!

ACCOMMODATIONS

As you descend the companionway you will immediately notice the modern touches and the warm, soft atmosphere. The classic teak holly sole and the cream ultraleather upholstery come together to create a wonderful cruising home away from home for you and your family and guests.

Starting aft to port, the wonderfully large aft state room features a huge double berth that you can partially walk around. Under the berth is deep storage that can be easily accessed due to the hinged mattress and mattress base that has hydraulic assistance. There is also a large louvered cabinet with shelves. The nav station is located in this aft stateroom so the navigation seat doubles as a changing seat. In addition to the privacy door, the bulkhead has a large removable folding insert that opens up the aft stateroom and allows you to work at the nav station and converse with those in the salon.

Just at the base of the companionway steps to starboard is the spacious, modern galley. The galley has everything you need, and more counter space than you can imagine especially when you consider the stove top counter piece and the folding extension over the strait settee. The faux granite counters give this kitchen a wonderfully modern feel.

The main salon features a beautiful cocktail table, as well as a large dropdown dinner table that cleverly disguises liquor and dish storage against the bulkhead. The port and starboard settees are extremely plush and comfortable and can easily seat the family and guests for dinner. Tons of storage is hidden under and outboard of the two settees and there are shelves and louvered cabinets above and outboard.

The large head is to port and forward of the salon. The head has a standard marine toilet, a separate shower area with a bench and a folding glass door, and there is a single stainless steel stink nestled in beautiful faux granite counter top. Storage is found outboard of the sink and shower bench.

To starboard and forward of the salon is a hanging wet locker, and then the forward stateroom. There are privacy doors separating the forward stateroom from the salon, and from the head. The queen size walk around berth is plenty big and comfortable for any couple, and there are shelves to port, a hanging locker to starboard, and a large drawer for storage under the bed.

Sapphire is in need of some updates that will be reflected in pricing negation. She is stored in indoor heated building. All offers welcome.
