There are not enough words to describe the joy and pleasure it is to meet Kim and Emory aboard their beautiful Jeanneau 53; SOMEDAY. The name of their yacht, SOMEDAY, fits their dream and their decade long goal to sail away. As busy professional executives working for one of the best known consumer brands in the world, they labored tirelessly for more than a combined total of forty years to be ready to SOMEDAY, sail away.
They then purchased SOMEDAY, a Jeanneau 53 from Bluenose Yachts in Newport Rhode Island, and their someday became today as they sailed away in August 2015.
This is truly one of those stories you won’t hear about in Hollywood because it is just too nice and too real. No tragedy, no drama, no bad endings, just plain wonderful love of life, each other and the passion for sailing exploration. Maybe Hollywood should pay attention. This is a dynamic story that only keeps getting better as I live vicariously thru their wonderful pictures and Facebook postings. What a treat it is to play a small part in their SOMEDAY adventures and really living a dream through their shared moments.
Thankfully, we will meet very soon at the bi-annual Jeanneau rendezvous in the caribbean and have an opportunity to hear detailed stories of seas sailed and add a few new stories to their delightful diary.
