Of course, she is only half way thru the 600+ mile around the Caribean race. BAM is owned by an Irish gent, by the name of Conor Fogerty and representing the Howth Yacht Club, we are rooting for continued success. Last year another Jeanneau SF3600, “YOLO”, won her division. A great race with some very competitive sailors and boats. INVICTUS, located in Newport, RI scored several several podium finishes last year and now for sale by BYS.

Speaking of competitive boats, Newport’s own Kenny Read, once again skipper aboard COMANCHE, took another line honor race having already finshed the CARIB 600. Hot from Ken’s win in the Sydney Hobart race despite some storm damage, COMANCHE, is on fire and all of Newport congratulates COMANCHE and crew.

Additionally, the all new SPOOKIE TP52 owned and skippered by local Steve Benjamin appears to have one on corrected time in his class. Needless to say, the old SPOOKIE was very successful and Steve is demonstrating again he and his crew are first class.
