Eastener is a Ray Hunt designed 12 Meter Yacht built in 1958 for the first Americas Cup in 12 Meter yachts after WW II. She was at the time considered to have the fastest straight line speed of all the 12's of that era. She is double planked mahogany and is recently refastened with all bronze fasteners as well as having six of the bottom planks replaced. Eastener has a lead keel. She has been stored for the last six years. She was in full Coast Guard inspection up to her recent storage. The mast and boom are aluminum are next to the boat and are in good condition.
The hull needs to be needs to be completely stripped and painted but is in good shape with no rot etc.
Eastener also needs a new engine and can be replaced for about $12,000
